So…. What Is A Metabolism?

fatloss4idiotsYour metabolism simply describes how well your body converts calories into energy. If your metabolism is slow then your body will store more calories and they will eventually be converted into fat cells. If your metabolism is fast then your body will convert more calories into usable energy. ALL diets center around speeding up the metabolism in order to help the body burn fat quickly. If your body stores most of the calories it consumes (slow metabolism) then you will have a much harder time trying to get rid of those calories before they show up in your belly fat.

Fortunate for you, a slow metabolism can be sped up at any given time, and you are not stuck with this “curse” in any way. Your metabolism is controlled by the bodies hormones, which are mostly controlled by your diet and stress levels. By changing your diet you can change the way your metabolism behaves and you can force your body to burn fat while you sleep. Another way to boost your metabolism is by exercising. This will build muscle. Muscle needs calories to sustain itself, therefore any calories that you consume are more likely to be converted into energy for your muscles. Even if you haven’t consumed any calories, your body will use the existing fat cells as energy, thereby burning fat without effort.

The key mistake with the low carb diets is that they are not considering how the metabolism works. If you cut your caloric intake by a certain amount, then your body automatically adjusts accordingly and it will limit it’s calorie conversion to that same degree. So if you start consuming only 1000 calories a day, then your body will start converting less than that automatically. There are no set amounts that your body chooses to convert, all reactions are relevant to what you do to cause the reaction. That’s why dieting with high nutrition and in many meals throughout the day works. By eating many small nutritional snacks throughout the day, instead of meals, you’ll be forcing your bodies metabolism to work overtime. Eventually after a short while this will boost your metabolism and help you lose weight.

Decrease Your Weight, Not Your Health

fatloss4idiotsIf you are trying to lose weight fast, there are some things that you should know in order to do so while remaining healthy. If you are not careful you could wind up losing the weight and then gaining it back again because of an unsustainable diet. Losing large amounts of weight and then gaining it back again creates chemical imbalances in your body and it could lead to serious health risks. For this reason you should be very cautious when selecting your weight loss regimen. Try to avoid regimens that require unrealistic amounts of exercise coupled with low food intake, that could pose a risk to your nutrition and therefore your health. The following are a couple of tips that you should follow to stay healthy while losing weight.

Before you lose weight, you should know that losing weight extremely fast may work, but it is not the best option if you are trying to keep that weight off. A lot of the time people lose weight fast and because they believe they can do it again they just eat whatever they want, and they wind up gaining it back again. Then they try the method they used the first time and it doesn’t work as good, leaving them just as unhealthy as they were in the beginning. The key is to select a diet that would be easy to sustain over long periods of time, and also to set your goals at a realistic pace. A good diet will promote a fast rate of weight loss while at the same time being sustainable and healthy. Starving yourself while running 3 miles a day, is not only unsustainable, but it is also very unhealthy for you.

Any diet that tells you don’t need to exercise is not letting you get the full potential out of your diet, and ultimately you will not be as healthy as you would be if you exercised. Exercise is a great way to lose weight because it builds muscle, which in turn burns fat…even while you sleep. A good diet will always involve counting calories. If your diet tells you that calories are irrelevant, then you need to switch diets immediately. No matter what diet you chose you should always use common sense, and don’t drink soda or eat junks foods. Avoid regimens that say you can eat anything as long as you exercise. While this is true to a certain extent, it doesn’t mean you can live off of junk food and then try to exercise vigorously, this will lead to serious health risks, and it will not help you lose a lot of weight.

If you are looking for a well balanced diet then I would recommend you download the personalized FatLoss4Idiots diet plan.

Calorie Shifting

fatloss4idiotsProbably the most sought after thing in the weight loss industry, is a diet that will trim the pounds and slim the waist in just weeks. People want to be able to look in the mirror a month from now and say “hey that’s not me”. All too often those people are let down by some television “guru” that promises them the world…for 19.99. The truth is… you CAN lose 20 pounds in a month, but you have to follow principles that are scientifically sound. You’re not going to get amazing results by starving yourself and drinking a miracle smoothie… that’s just not scientifically sound.

If you want amazing results, you’re going to need a little help from your metabolism. You won’t get amazing results if your body is refusing to comply with you. In order to boost your metabolism you’re going to need to eat nutritious foods, and you’re going to have to eat these nutritious foods on and off through out the day. This means replacing your 3 meals per day with about 7 meals. Even though you will be eating more meals per day, you’ll keep them small and you will never eat within an hour before you go to sleep. If you eat too close to bed time, the food will not be converted into energy (metabolized), and it will therefore be turned into fat.

Food has to become your means of sustenance, not a form of entertainment or a pass time. Hobby eating is the number one root cause of obesity. Hobbies become habits, and habits are hard to break..yet predictable. You want your diet to confuse your body into a state called ketosis, which puts your metabolism into hyper drive. If you are unsure how to do this then download the diet plan on this site. It has a meal generator that is guaranteed to plan you a custom diet that will boost your metabolism. The FatLoss4Idiots program is one of the most renowned diet programs on the internet, and for good reason… IT WORKS!

Metabolism Boosting

fatloss4idiotsThe most important bodily function in regards to weight loss is by far your metabolism. Your metabolism controls how fast, or slow, you process proteins and store fat. If your metabolism is fast, you will find it easy to lose weight, if it is slow then you may find it very difficult. One of the most asked questions in the weight loss industry is “How can I boost my metabolism ?”.

Surprisingly, the best way to boost your metabolism is to force your body to burn fat by eating a diet that is high in protein and low in carbohydrates. This creates a process called ketosis. This is the most natural and effortless way to boost your metabolism. Try to stay away from pre-packaged commercial foods, and stick to a more organic diet of fruits and vegetables. It would also be helpful to replace all of the red meat you eat with white meats like chicken and fish.

Another way is to force your metabolism to become more active by exercising. Aerobic exercises are the best kinds of exercises to do this with. Exercising will help you turn that fat into muscle, and your newfound muscle will help you burn fat while you sleep. You’ll also notice an increase in stamina and energy. As you gain more energy you’ll be able to engage in more rigorous exercise and your weight loss will snowball into a rapid process as time goes on and you get used to your routine.

Your metabolism needs certain nutrients and proteins to function properly. Many times people with slow metabolisms are lacking the crucial elements, and so they should supplement with vitamins from the health store to give the metabolism a boost. Good vitamins are backed by money back guarantees most of the time so you really have nothing to lose by trying them. If you’re trying to boost your metabolism, the worse thing you can do is to eat junk food, I really shouldn’t have to tell you that, but I figured I would add that for the 1%  of people wondering if it’s ok.

Whatever you decide to do, remember the most important part is sticking with it.
