I had been searching for a solution to my weight problem for years. Every since I was a child I have been made fun of for being overweight. I took the meds but I put off going to the gym for a whole 2 years, always making excuses about how I never had the time. While I was on the meds I managed to gain an extra 10 pounds even with medication, it was because I didn’t diet or exercise the doctor told me. He said the meds could not do everything.

 

After 2 years of taking the meds and not losing weight I decided to go to the gym. I went to the gym for 2 months straight, taking the meds every day like I was supposed to. After 2 months of starving myself I had only lost 7 pounds, and I felt like crap. My husband would make jokes about how much time I had wasted and he would say “that wasn’t nothing but water weight that you lost” and he laughed.  At this point I knew I had a serious problem and I had spiraled into deep depression, even my family would make jokes about it. I knew they were just joking and all but it still hurt ,you know. I would cry for what seemed like hours at a time.  I went back to the doc and asked him why I wasn’t losing weight, he asked me what I was eating. I told him that I had tried starving myself but that didn’t work and it made me hate the world, then I saw a program on tv that said I could eat whatever I want as long as I exercise.
