Stretch Your Body… Not Your Jeans

Ultimately it is the difficulty of the exercises combined with the lack of results that forces most failed exercisers into submission, and causes them to turn back into a couch potato. Most people fail to realize the importance that stretching holds on exercising. Exercising is the action of improving your bodies health  through a series of movements, so how then are you supposed to get the most out of your exercising if you can barely even move as it is? You wont!

Exercising without stretching not only hinders your results, but also may cause serious injuries such as pulled or torn ligaments. Which could keep you from ever exercising again, and could cause you to  GAIN weight, while you are forced to not walk for weeks at a time to recover from such injuries. To prevent these unnecessary ailments, all that is required is a simple 5-10 minutes of stretching, twice a day, every day before exercising. A good way to build your bodies flexibility and optimize your results is to spend a couple of minutes a day doing a couple of yoga poses. Just pick a couple of poses and throw them into your stretching routine, once in the morning and once at night.

 

Dieting will help you change your bodies nutrition, while stretching can help you improve your bodies composure. Both are needed to get the most out of your weight loss regimen. Some of the best stretches you can do are stretches that improve your core strength. Your core is the area around your lower back and abdomen, and it is the area that most stomach exercises target. If you have a weak and stiff core, then you can expect considerable pain and difficulty when doing stomach exercises like crunches and sit ups. Even if you are doing good at exercising and stretching, if you are not dieting correctly then you are doing all of that in vain.
