Shedding that Stubborn Stomach

fatloss4idiotsThe extra weight on your stomach and sides can be some of the hardest weight to lose. It is also responsible for a number of health problems like diabetes, high blood pressure and even cardiovascular disease. To most people it is very hard to lose the fat on their stomach because they are not using the correct methods. If only they knew some of the tips that I am about to give you they would have lost it already. Once you’ve read this you’re probably going to have a thought like: “WOW that’s it?….that’s all I have to do to lose my stomach fat”….Surprisingly…YES. It is a lot easier than you would think, in fact over-training is one of the reasons people DON’T lose weight. Yes that’s right you can try too hard and fail because of it.

The first thing you should do to start losing stomach fat is to create a balanced diet that you can stick to. Starving yourself is not dieting either. In fact you will want to eat 5-7 meals per day rather than 3. NO I’m not telling you to eat more…. I’m telling you to eat 5-7 really small “meals” (more like snacks) that are high in nutrition per day. Doing this will cause your metabolism to go into hyper drive because your body will have time to digest each snack individually. If you eat 3 large meals, then whatever your body doesn’t turn into energy will be turned into fat. The key is to keep your body from turning calories into fat by forcing them to convert them into energy in small amounts. This process is actually called ketosis and it is the key to any good diet.

The next thing you should be doing is exercise. Exercise will also help boost your metabolism by building muscle, because muscle automatically burns fat. The best exercises to do in order to shed that stomach fat are aerobics and abdominal exercises. Try to use ab exercises that don”t put a lot of stress on your back. I would recommend you use some sort of ab machine to do this, as crunches and sit ups may be bad for your back, and they are very difficult for beginners. Make sure you drink plenty of water while exercising and be sure to keep track of the calories your body is burning. You want to make sure your body has enough energy and nutrition so you don’t become fatigued and sore.

The last thing hat you should do in order to shed the pounds off of your stomach is to limit the amount of stress you are under. Your bodies metabolism is actually controlled by hormones. Diet and exercise helps to balance these hormones, but stress is also a key factor. If you are under a lot of stress than your body will start to store fat automatically as a survival mechanism. There are plenty of ways to reduce stress, including aromatherapy, yoga, and motivational tapes. If you’re trying to take control of your body, the first thing you should do is take control of your mind. Your mind is the control panel to the body, so remember to keep a sound mind if you’re trying to lose weight.

As I said in the beginning, a good diet is the key. If your diet is poor then you will not see very good results from your exercise. If you are looking for a sound diet then I would recommend you download the FatLoss4Idiots diet plan.

Agree with most of your post but Abdominal exercises such as crunches or anything with an Ab cradle will not do too much for anyone.

Good nutrition, high intensity training, good sleep and stress reduction is the way. Ab work from kettlebells or functional exercises such as squats is te way to go.
