Also when people think about their diet, they are assuming it is only a temporary set back, in order to lose the weight. They think they can go back to eating whatever they want as soon as the diet is “over”. They don’t realize that effective dieting takes place over long periods of time and if you want the weight to stay gone you are going to need to be active and not stuff your face. So many people are so confused about dieting that they just give up altogether.
